City of Toronto to provide update on 2024/25 Winter Services Plan for people experiencing homelessness
Tomorrow, the City of Toronto will release its 2024/25 Winter Services Plan to support people experiencing homelessness. Councillor Alejandra Bravo (Davenport), Chair, Economic and Community Development Committee, and Gord Tanner, General Manager, Toronto Shelter and Support Services, will provide a briefing on the increased services available for individuals during the cold weather.
Date: Tuesday, October 22
Time: 9 a.m.
Location: Members’ Lounge, Toronto City Hall
Note: This in-person briefing is intended for members of the media, who are asked to RSVP by 8 p.m. on Monday, October 21. A livestream will also be made available on the City of Toronto YouTube channel.
The City’s Winter Services Plan is an annual strategy to provide additional help and resources for those experiencing homelessness between November 15, 2024 and April 15, 2025.
