City of Toronto announces 2025 Toronto Community Champion Award recipients

The City of Toronto, in partnership with United Way Greater Toronto, is proud to announce 25 recipients of the 2025 Toronto Community Champion Award to be honoured at a ceremony on Thursday, May 15.

In its third year, the Toronto Community Champion Award celebrates the extraordinary contributions of local organizations that continue to support the health, well-being and resilience of Toronto residents.

This year’s recipients have demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing equity, inclusion and social connectedness in their communities with a focus on serving equity-deserving groups.

Each recipient will receive a cash award to support their ongoing work, will be featured in a City highlight video, celebrated on the City’s social media channels and acknowledged during the Toronto Blue Jays’ City Connect game at Rogers Centre on Friday, May 16.
