*CITY OF AUBURN: NOVEMBER PERFORMING ARTS*

The BRAVO Performing Arts Season presents an incredible lineup of music, comedy, theater, and kids’ programming as part of the BRAVO Performing Arts Season. 

Performances are held in various venues around Auburn, including the Auburn Performing Arts Center at Auburn High School, the Auburn Community & Event Center or Les Gove Gymnasium located in Les Gove Park, Cascade Hall located at Green River College, and Bogey’s Banquet Room at Auburn Golf Course. Additionally, Auburn's new *Postmark Center for the Arts* [ http://www.auburnwa.gov/postmark ] will be featured as a venue this season, with several small-scale musical performances.

The Seattle International Comedy Competition is an annual event that welcomes comedians from around the world to the Pacific Northwest for an entire month of extraordinary comedy shows...and a winner is crowned at the end of it all. 2023 is the 43rd Annual Seattle International Comedy Competition. The City of Auburn will host two preliminary rounds of the competition as a horde of comedians compete to become Seattle’s newest champion! "Tickets per show: $23/$20"

The Jewel Tones are a sparkling homage to the music of Motown, the definitive era of American artistry and soul. With lively choreography, dazzling costumes and a glamorous style reminiscent of the great 1960s girl bands, this trio engages audiences with warmth and nostalgia and welcomes them back to a time when Diana Ross was queen and brilliant women ruled the stage. Their All-American, Motown playlist that includes hits by The Supremes, The Temptations, The Shirelles, Gladys Knight & The Pips, Martha & The Vandellas, The Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder, The Ronettes and many more. This all-female, Motown-inspired vocal trio leaves audiences "dancin' in the street!" "Tickets: $25/$22"

Maiah Wynne delivers powerful and universally resonant lyrics with a hauntingly beautiful voice. She is currently the lead singer in Envy of None, a project including former Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson. Based in Gresham, Oregon Maiah is an award-winning American singer-songwriter, musician, and actress. She will team up with Cellist Heidi Dubose for this impressive and inspirational evening of music. "Tickets: $20/$17"

BRAVO KIDS presents StoryBook Theater’s Goldilocks! Golden curls and mood swings do not necessarily mix with an over-pampered, but adorable, baby bear. Can a famished little girl put her spoiled behavior on the back shelf and learn how to be a friend to a lonely baby bear who hungers for a playfellow? Through listening and taking turns, these two misfits discover the power of having fun and being a friend. Based on the familiar fairy tale, this show focuses on a life lesson and has a happy ending. All tickets: $12

Backed by Jim Kerl's Swing Session big band, this show has the energy and excitement to keep you going all night. "Tickets: $25/$22"
