City of Toronto to provide an update on bargaining with CUPE Local 79

Today, City Manager Paul Johnson will provide an update on bargaining with Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 79.

Date: Wednesday, March 5
Time: 1 p.m.
Location: Members’ Lounge, City Hall, 100 Queen St. W.
Note: Media access and sign-in will open at noon at the East Council elevator

A livestream will be available on the City’s YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@thecityoftoronto).

The union will be in a legal strike position and the City in a legal lockout position at 12:01 a.m., or one minute past midnight, on Saturday, March 8.
