City of Toronto to mark phase one launch of new affordable and supportive housing building at 65 Dundas St. E.
On Tuesday, Mayor Olivia Chow and Councillor Chris Moise (Toronto Centre) will be joined by the Honourable Marci Ien, Minister for Women and Gender Equality and Youth (Member of Parliament, Toronto Centre), and Mina Mawani, Chief Executive Officer, Dixon Hall Neighbourhood Services, to celebrate the completion of new, rent-geared-to-income and supportive homes at 65 Dundas St. E.
Date: Tuesday, November 12
Time: 11:15 a.m.
Location: 65 Dundas St. E.
Parking: Paid parking is available at Target Park at 80 Dundas St. E.

The City acquired the property at 65 Dundas St. E. in 2022 and is undertaking renovations in phases to create new permanent affordable rental homes, including supportive homes. The property previously operated as a temporary shelter program during the COVID-19 pandemic to help support physical distancing in the shelter system.
