City of Toronto to announce partnership with provincial and federal governments to pilot urban mobility technologies

Mayor Olivia Chow will join the Honourable Filomena Tassi, Minister responsible for FedDev Ontario; Victor Fedeli, Ontario Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation, and Trade; Vijay Thanigasalam, Ontario Associate Minister of Transportation; and Raed Kadri, Head of the Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network, to announce a partnership to pilot innovative technology solutions to improve transportation in Toronto.

Date: Monday, May 27
Time: 9:30 a.m. (media should arrive by 9 a.m.)
Location: City of Toronto Traffic Operations Centre, 703 Don Mills Rd.
Note: Media are encouraged to RSVP by 6 p.m. on Friday, May 24 by emailing media@toronto.ca and apereira@oc-innovation.ca. Due to space constraints, this event is limited to one reporter from each organization plus a camera operator if required.
Parking: Parking is available in the Traffic Management Centre parking building behind 703 Don Mills Rd. which is accessible from Gateway Boulevard. Media should park on the lower level in a parking space marked “Traffic Management Centre.”
