On Monday, Mayor Olivia Chow, Deputy Mayor Jennifer McKelvie (Scarborough-Rouge Park) and Deputy Mayor Ausma Malik (Spadina-Fort York) will be joined by representatives from Rogers and the Daily Bread Food Bank for the unveiling of Taylor Swift Way, in honour of the pop megastar’s upcoming Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour shows at Rogers Centre in Toronto.

Date: Monday, November 4
Time: 8 a.m.
Location: Outside Rogers Centre Gate 13 – northwest corner of ballpark (south of Front Street off Blue Jays Way).
RSVP: Media representatives are requested to RSVP to media@toronto.ca by 6 p.m. today.
TV truck parking: Above ground outside Gate 14 (before ramp to Marriott hotel)
Personal vehicle parking: Complimentary parking is available in the Rogers Centre underground lot; enter off Bremner Boulevard and Van De Water Crescent. Attendees are asked to use gate 13 elevators to access street level after parking.
Notes: Speakers will give formal remarks at a podium, followed by the sign unveiling. Mayor Chow will hold a media scrum after the unveiling.

For the month of November, the City has designated the route from Nathan Phillips Square to Rogers Centre along Queen Street West, John Street, Front Street and Blue Jays Way as Taylor Swift Way with the installation of ceremonial street signs. The signage, created in partnership with Rogers, will be donated to Daily Bread Food Bank to auction after the concert series ends.

Taylor Swift will perform six sold-out shows at Rogers Centre on November 14, 15, 16, 21, 22 and 23. Rogers is the presenting sponsor of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour in Canada.
