City of Toronto to host Small Business Forum 2025 to help entrepreneurs thrive in a global economy

Tomorrow, the City of Toronto will host its annual Small Business Forum to support entrepreneurs in starting, growing and scaling their businesses. This year’s Forum, themed “Small Business, Big World,” will focus on how Toronto’s small businesses can navigate and succeed in an increasingly global economy.

Date: Wednesday, October 29
Time: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Location: Meridian Hall, 1 Front St E.

Mayor Olivia Chow will kick off the Forum and will be joined by Councillor Alejandra Bravo (Davenport) and Councillor Shelley Carroll (Don Valley North).

Highlights include:
-Main stage programming with spotlight speakers, a fireside chat with Sara Wilshaw, Chief Trade Commissioner of Canada, and expert panels
- The launch of the City’s 2026 Women4Climate Mentorship Program that empowers women climate entrepreneurs through mentoring, training and networking, fostering innovative climate solutions
- Speed mentoring sessions where seasoned entrepreneurs and global business experts share practical advice, answer questions and spark new ideas
- A vibrant trade show featuring more than 60 exhibitors, showcasing a diverse range of small business services and product providers
