City of Toronto to launch supports for local manufacturers impacted by U.S. tariffs

As part of the City of Toronto’s continued efforts to protect the local economy from the impacts of U.S. tariffs, Mayor Olivia Chow will officially launch supports for the local manufacturing sector.

Date: Thursday, April 17
Time: 11 a.m.
Location: Plastic Plus, 10 Leswyn Rd.
Note: Parking is located on the east side of the building

The Mayor’s Economic Action Plan in Response to U.S. Tariffs included specific actions aimed at providing cash flow relief to manufacturers facing financial uncertainty due to new U.S. trade measures. More information about the Action Plan can be found on the City’s website: toronto.ca/tariffs.
