Ferry Update

Please be advised that the Ongiara passenger and vehicle ferry will be temporarily removed from service this weekend (May 3rd and 4th) while the vessel undergoes routine maintenance and inspections. Additionally, on Tuesday, May 6th, the Ongiara will be temporarily out of service from 8am to noon while the vessel undergoes it’s regularly scheduled five-year certification inspection with Transport Canada. During this time vehicle service to Toronto Island Park will be temporarily suspended and any vehicles requiring access to the Island will be rerouted through Billy Bishop Airport.

There will be no impact to the schedule or passenger capacity, as the Thomas Rennie and Sam McBride/ William Inglis will operate.
